Faced with the limitations of cloud computing and edge computing\u2014such as high latency due to network congestion, distance from the end user, and security vulnerabilities\u2014 the approach integrates Named Functions Networking (NFN) with a Software-Defined Network (SDN) architecture to minimize overall response time while offering dynamic management and a comprehensive overview of the system. The solution collects and analyzes users\u2019 physiological data to rapidly detect symptoms of a virus and limit its spread, and relies on an anonymous authentication protocol that protects the privacy of the medical and personal data exchanged.
