Ygal Bendavid
Biographie
Ygal Bendavid est professeur en gestion des opérations au département d’analytique, opérations et technologies de l’information (AOTI) à l’École des sciences de la gestion (ESG) de l’UQAM, et directeur du laboratoire d’internet des Objets (lab. IoT), domaine dans lequel il œuvre depuis près de 20 ans. Avant de co-fonder le lab. IoT, Il a mis en place plusieurs laboratoires de recherche appliqué (laboratoire RFID, ePoly- École Polytechnique de Montréal, RFID Lab. @ RFID Academia, Smart Logistics & Transportation Laboratory (SLTL)/ESG-UQAM). Ce dernier a formé des centaines de professionnels à travers le monde, notamment à travers sa contribution à RFID Journal Live où il est conférencier et séminariste (depuis 2006), membre du comité «as the experts» et Juge sur les RFID Journal Awards. Il enseigne un cours sur les technologies RFID depuis 2014 et sur la gestion des technologies IoT dans les organisations (AOT 8418). Dr. Bendavid est membre régulier du LATECE (Laboratoire de recherche transdisciplinaire sur les écosystèmes informatiques), membre du comité de direction du CRI2GS (Centre de recherche sur l’intelligence2 en gestion de systèmes complexes), l’un des «leaders» du réseau SDG Innovation Network.
