Mounir Boukadoum
Biographie
Mounir Boukadoum est professeur titulaire au département d’informatique de l’UQAM, et directeur du Regroupement Stratégique des Microsystèmes du Québec (RESMIQ resmiq.org), un regroupement stratégique de recherche FRQNT. Professeur à l’UQAM depuis 1984, ses intérêts en recherche, initialement orientés vers l’instrumentation et les signaux biomédicaux avec les applications cliniques en vue, portent aujourd’hui sur les applications de l’intelligence artificielle dans divers domaines, dont le génie logiciel, le génie biomédical, et les systèmes d’instrumentation et de communications en général. Il compte à son actif des livres et plus de 200 articles publiés dans des revues et actes de congrès avec comités de lecture. Il détient un PhD de l’Université de Houston et une Maîtrise en génie du Stevens Institute of Technology. Il est cofondateur de la conférence internationale NEWCAS d’IEEE et membre du groupe de travail sur les réseaux de neurones et leurs applications du même organisme. Il est aussi membre associé du LATECE.
