Strategic Council

LATECE is advised by its strategic council composed of a team of representatives involved in its work and invested in LATECE’s mission.

The council advises the lab’s strategic and scientific leadership in terms of research themes, external partnerships, and funding strategy. Council members also promote the lab within their networks and the forums and communities in which they participate. The council is presided over by a representative of one of UQAM’s vice-provosts (Vice-rectorat à la recherche, à la création et à la diffusion), who acts as a facilitator. The council otherwise includes representatives from the community of users of technologies developed by LATECE, namely private businesses, public organizations, and research representatives, including key research groups, as well as representatives from research funding bodies.
