Yasmina Maïzi

Biography

Yasmina Maïzi, professor of operations management in the Department of Analytics, Operations and Information Technology (AOTI) at UQAM’s École des sciences de la gestion (ESG) and associate member of the Internet of Things laboratory (lab. IoT), where she helps the team assess the impact of various technological scenarios/designs on operational performance. She is a specialist in operational systems modeling and complex systems simulation, and her research interests focus on the development of digital twins in the healthcare sector. Dr. Maïzi is an associate member of CRI2GS (Centre de recherche sur l’intelligence2 en gestion de systèmes complexes). Dr. Maïzi is responsible for the UQAM node within the SDG Innovation Network, notably for the electric air mobility project for the SDG Innovation Network.
